Privacy Policy and Zero-Storage Guarantee
PDF Genius Pro is designed so that live browser-enabled document workflows can process files on the user's device rather than sending those document contents to our infrastructure. This is our zero-storage guarantee for document content in the live zero-server flow.
We may still process other personal data where necessary to operate the site, respond to enquiries, honour cookie choices, investigate security reports, or maintain basic service diagnostics. For those activities, PDF Genius Pro acts as a controller for its own site-level processing.
Essential browser storage may be used for theme settings, consent records, and in-progress local workflow state. Optional analytics and performance measurement are disabled until you consent. When enabled, the site may use Google Analytics 4, Vercel Web Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights to measure page usage, page usage patterns, and Core Web Vitals. Vercel states that Web Analytics stores anonymized data and does not use cookies, but we still gate those services behind consent as a privacy-first default. Google Analytics is also loaded only after the visitor enables analytics measurement through the site's consent controls.
If you contact us, we use the details you provide to respond to your enquiry. Concern reports, security notifications, and privacy-rights requests can be sent to the contact address shown in the footer. The operational goal is to acknowledge those reports promptly and handle privacy requests within applicable legal timelines.
Because the product uses static hosting plus local document processing, the categories of data we ordinarily receive are narrower than a traditional upload-and-convert platform. That reduces exposure around document contents, but it does not eliminate all privacy obligations for site-level data or correspondence.
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to, or restrict processing of personal information we hold about you, or to complain to a supervisory authority or privacy regulator. That can include rights associated with the UK and EEA GDPR regimes, applicable US state privacy laws, Canada's private-sector privacy rules, or Australia's Privacy Act. Requests can be sent to concerns@pdfgeniuspro.com.
We do not currently sell personal information or run cross-context behavioural advertising on the live site. If that changes, the site will need updated disclosures, consent controls, and region-specific rights handling before those features go live.
Site infrastructure and analytics providers may process limited service data in countries outside your home region. We aim to keep that data set as small as possible, avoid transmitting document contents, and use provider controls and contractual safeguards where available.
